And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
