The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
