But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know. 182 And I grant them respite; surely My scheme is effective. 183 Do they not reflect? Their companion is not seized with madness: he is but a perspicuous warner. 184 Look they not at the governance of the heaven and the earth and whatsoever Allah hath created of aught, and at the fact that their term may have drawn nigh? In what discourse then will they, thereafter, believe! 185 Whomsoever God leads astray, no guide he has; He leaves them in their insolence blindly wandering. 186 They ask you about the hour, when will be its taking place? Say: The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time; it will be momentous in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but of a sudden. They ask you as if you were solicitous about it. Say: Its knowledge is only with Allah, but most people do not know. 187 Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith." 188
