And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
