Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Only those who are destined to revert, are reverted from it. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept very little during the night 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23
