So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
