▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers: 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 About all what they used to do. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
