Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
