Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty Allah's Truth.
