۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
