Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
