In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaHa. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 When he came near the fire he was called, "Moses, 11 "O Moses, I am verily your Lord, so take off your shoes, for you are in the holy plain of Towa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 "That We may show you (some) of Our Greater Signs. 23 Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. 24
