Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
