Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth extols the glory of Allah. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 1 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things. 2 He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward. He has knowledge of all things. 3 It is He that created the heavens and the earth in six days then seated Himself upon the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth, and what comes forth from it, -- what comes down from heaven, and what goes up unto it. He is with you wherever you are; and God sees the things you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all things will go back to Him. 5 He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend (in charity) out of the (substance) whereof He has made you heirs. For, those of you who believe and spend (in charity),- for them is a great Reward. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 He it is who sends down clear communications upon His servant, that he may bring you forth from utter darkness into light; and most surely Allah is Kind, Merciful to you. 9 Why do you not spend for the cause of God when to Him belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those who spend for the cause of God and fight before victory will have higher positions than those who spend for the cause of God and fight after victory. However, to both parties God has promised good rewards. God is Well Aware of what you do. 10
