ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 The heavens are close to being torn apart by it, and the earth being split asunder, and the mountains succumbing and falling down. 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
