The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 that hide, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 And the Qur’an is not the recitation of Satan the outcast. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
