Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, writers 11 who know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
