The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
