The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
