The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the others. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
