Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
