▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 There hath deflowered them neither man nor jinn. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
