Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
