Allah's judgement will come about them all on the Day when everyone shall come pleading in his defence, and everyone shall be fully requited for his deeds and none shall be wronged in the least. 111 God has struck a similitude: a city that was secure, at rest, its provision coming to it easefully from every place, then it was unthankful for the blessings of God; so God let it taste the garment of hunger and of fear, for the things that they were working. 112 There came to them a messenger from among themselves, but they rejected him as false, so punishment overtook them, as they were wrongdoers. 113 So eat of that which Allah hath provided you of lawful and clean things, and give thanks for Allah's favour, if it is He whom ye are wont to worship. 114 The only things which are made unlawful for you are the flesh of dead animals, blood, pork and that which is not consecrated with the Name of God. But in an emergency, without the intention of transgression and rebellion, (it is not an offense for one to consume such things). God is certainly All-forgiving and All-merciful. 115 And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, "This is lawful and this is unlawful," to invent falsehood about Allah. Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed. 116 (In such falsehood) is but a paltry profit; but they will have a most grievous Penalty. 117 We have already told you what We have forbidden the Jews. We did not wrong them, they wronged themselves. 118 Then lo! thy Lord - for those who do evil in ignorance and afterward repent and amend - lo! (for them) thy Lord is afterward indeed Forgiving, Merciful. 119
