۞ Before this We gave Abraham his virtue, for We knew him. 51 When he asked his father and his people, "What are these images to which you are so devoted?" 52 They answered: "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 He said, "Both you and your fathers have certainly been in error." 54 They said, “Have you brought the Truth to us, or are you just making fun?” 55 He said, "[No], rather, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth who created them, and I, to that, am of those who testify. 56 Abraham said to himself, "By God! I will devise a plan against their idols when they are away." 57 Then he broke them all into pieces, sparing only the supreme one among them that they may possibly return to him. 58 They said: Who hath done this to our gods? Surely it must be some evil-doer. 59 They said: We heard a youth make mention of them, who is called Abraham. 60 "Bring him before the people," they said, "that they may bear witness." 61 They said, "Have you done this to our gods, O Abraham?" 62 He answered: "Rather it was this supreme one who has done it. So ask them, if they can speak." 63 So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)." 64 Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!" 65 Abraham said: "Do you, then, worship beside Allah a thing that can neither benefit you nor hurt you? 66 Shame on you and on that you worship other than Allah! Have you no understanding' 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 We said, “O fire, become cool and peaceful upon Ibrahim.” 69 Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most! 70 And We delivered him and Lot to the land which We had blessed for the worlds. 71 We gave him, in excess, Isaac, and Jacob (for a grandson); and We made each righteous 72 And We made them leaders who guide by Our command, and We sent them the divine revelation to do good deeds and to keep the prayer established and to give charity; and they used to worship Us. 73 AND UNTO Lot, too, We vouchsafed sound judgment and knowledge [of right and wrong,] and saved him from that community which was given to deeds of abomination. [We destroyed those people - for,] verily, they were people lost in evil, depraved 74 And We admitted him to Our Mercy: for he was one of the Righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
