۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
