Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
