The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
