No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning to mortals, 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
