Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 But how are you to know? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
