The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I do call to witness this City;- 1 And you shall be made free from obligation in this city-- 2 and I swear by the parent and his offspring: 3 Verily We have created man into toil and struggle. 4 Thinketh he, that none hath power over him? 5 He says, “I destroyed vast wealth.” 6 Thinketh he that none beholdeth him? 7 Have We not appointed to him two eyes, 8 And a tongue and a pair of lips? 9 Have We not shown him the ways of good and evil? 10 But he hath made no haste on the path that is steep. 11 And what will make you know the path that is steep? 12 (It is:) freeing the bondman; 13 or the feeding in times of famine 14 of an orphaned relative 15 Or some poor wretch in misery, 16 And to be of those who believe, and urge upon one another to persevere, and urge upon each other to be kind. 17 These are the people of the right hand. 18 whereas those who are bent on denying the truth of Our messages - they are such as have lost themselves in evil, 19 Upon them is a fire, in which they are imprisoned, closed and shut above them. 20
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
