And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
