Saad 5 of 5
Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
