What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man of them desire that he should be made to enter the garden of bliss? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
