Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
