Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
