۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
