▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
