The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
