The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like hidden pearls, 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And clustered plantains, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 and fruits abounding 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And raised couches; 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
