Al-Qaare'ah
The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
