Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
