Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Tell them: “Wait; I too am waiting with you.” 31 Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Seek they to lay a plot? Then those who disbelieve it is they who shall be plotted against. 42 Is theirs a god beside Allah? Hallowed be Allah from that which they associate! 43 And if they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down, they would say: it is only clouds piled up. 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
