The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah]; 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
