VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
