And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 notwithstanding that they had been wont [to enjoy Our blessings and] to hew out dwellings from the mountains, [wherein they could live] in security 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 As to what they did. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And serve thy Lord till the Inevitable cometh unto thee. 99
