(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 They indeed sought to entice you away from what We revealed to you, hoping that you might invent something else in Our name; and then they would have accepted you as a close friend. 73 And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little. 74 In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 This has been Our Way with the Messengers whom We sent before you. You will find no change in Our Way. 77
