Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Woe to the liars 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them. Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day): 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23
