When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 and there they found one of Our servants upon whom We had bestowed Our mercy, and to whom We had imparted a special knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 Moses replied: "You shall find me, if Allah wills, patient; and I shall not disobey you in anything." 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
