We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
